SONY XPERIA Z




Sony has released it's latest Android Device, the Sony Xperia Z. This device is water-resistant and dust proof so no need to worry. It has improved camera which is 13.1 MP camera, autofocus and LED flash. It runs on Android Jelly Bean with a Quadcore 1.5 GHz Krait, a Bravia Engine 2, 16 GB memory( expandable via micro sd, 2GB ram and a 1080p HD screen.

Built and Design




It has 5 inch display with a 441 ppi pixel density. The flaws and edges are perfectly fitted, with oleophobic dust resistance coating and water reistance. The pysical keys are on the sides, the volume key, the camera key and the power key. There is 13 mp camera at the back and 2.2 mp front camera. The sim slot is located along the Power button. Availabe on Black and White colors.




Memory and Data


Sony Xperai has 16gb internal memory and is expandable up to 64GB via micro sd. It it 2G, 3G, and 4G capable. It can only accomodate micro-sim. Like other Xperia devices, it has 2GB of RAM. There is WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, EDGE(296 kbps), GPRS(107 kbps) and USB. It also support 100 MBPS download.





OS and Chipsets

It runs on Android Jellybean, a Qualcomm MDM9215M / APQ8064 chipset,  an Adreno 320 GPU and 1.5 GHz Quadcore CPU. It has sensors that could handle Accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass. It has also Stereo FM Radio with RDS.




Camera


This Phone features 13.1 MP camera, unlike any other devices, it has EXMOR RS sensor fo better and vibrant image presentation. It has 4128x3096 pixels, autofocus, LED flash and Panorama. It can capture 1080p@30fps, with video stabilization and HDR.

Battery And Back-up



It has Non-removable Li-Ion 2330 mAh battery, with a standby time of 550 hours, talktime of 11 to 14 hrs. The Battery Endurance upon max usage is 48 hrs.You can Backup programs in setting and restore them. These are Bookmarks, Contacts, Logs, Apps from Google Play Store, Multimedia Message, Text messages and System Settings.
