Improved Multi-tasking

Full-Screen Immersive Mode
The navigation bar and buttons while playing or browsing the web would take up a state. You can now switch to full-screen to see more on the go and tap the top or bottom of the screen to get the buttons back.
OK Google
This will allow you to voice search, send a message, play a song and get direction on the maps as long as you're in the homescreen state.
Calls and Texts
Caller ID has been implemented and the new Hangout App combines all your messages and call log in one place, even with voice and video calls. If someone who's calling that was not on your contacts, the google will search for matches with businesses and local listings.
Low Power Audio Playback
Thanks to the audio tunneling to a Digital Signal Processor, the audio decoding effects are lessen and off-loaded to the DSP, making the processor use less battery.
Chromecast
Chromecast's HDMI dongle is supported in 4.4 Kitkat for wireless streaming such as youtube.
Caller ID
You can sync all of your social media account in one place. It gives you a tidy contact lists with contact image. If someone calls you but the no. is not saved on your phone, the google will sync and scan for google maps for appropriate image so you will have an idea who's calling you.
Bluetooth MAP
The 4.4 KitKat can now connect to cars with bluetooth to exchange messages with your device.
